MELE WAS A GIFT

Mele was a Gift.

A Gift to us all.

She was a Gift to anyone

who was ever touched by her.

She came from far away…

with that quiet ability

to bring calmness

and quiet peace

to everyone

who was ever with her,

even for just a few minutes.

For 38 years,

she was a Gift

to Pat Ramsey,

and the entire Ramsey family

as she guided that family,

in her special way.

She was always calm,

always there,

always present,

always caring…

She always brought her poise,

and her peaceful ways

to the occasional

uncomfortable energies

that flowed all around her

from time to time. 

She calmed them all.

Was it her wonderful loving?

Was it her true presence?

Was it her deep calm?

I can’t say.

What I do know

was that was Mele’s way…

That was her Gift.

The one she gave us all.

She did this with such sweetness,

such kindness…and loving…

That energy she had…

said it all.

And we remember…
